Bill: been reading your blog for past few months and am looking forward to visiting the Cafe later this month when my son & I make our first visit to Iquitos. We are spending a little over two weeks in the area and are really looking forward to it. I understand we might be facing highest water level in many years.

Hi Katie, Thanks for leaving a comment on the Dawn on the Amazon Cafe Blog with your nice compliment. Most of our servers do speak english and all of them understand english. Our menu is in english and spanish, and we have the amount of each item in Sole and U.S. dollars. You can pay with soles, dollars or with credit cards. Wow! This is fantastic! I never thought a restaurant so close to my hotel could have all the food I like and more! Im going to be traveling to Peru very soon and i was worried that I would not be able to find a place to eat during my stay, but this looks fantastic!!

Do you servers speak English as well as Spanish? And do you only accept cash- the Sol?
