Granola, Fruit, and Yogurt For Breakfast at Dawn on the Amazon Cafe
This is what I have for breakfast three or four time a week at Dawn on the Amazon Cafe. It’s a cup of granola, a cup of mixed fresh fruit, and a cup of natural yogurt. Along with 2 small cups of brewed coffee, and a 16 ounce glass of fresh squeezed orange juice, with maca, and fresh turmeric blended in. I think it’s a delicious healthy way to start the day.
The ingredients of the granola are 100% natural and include whole grain barley, amaranth, whole grain wheat, sesame seeds, coconut, Brazil nuts, raisins, almonds, peanuts, pecans, unrefined brown sugar, zest of lemon, cinnamon, and clove.
The fresh fruit is what we have in the kitchen on any given day, ripe, in season and available. My bowl this morning has apple, pineapple, banana and papaya.
Pour in one cup of all natural yogurt. If you prefer milk, we bring you a cup of milk. If you are lactose intolerant we bring you soy milk. Let us know your preference.
